Our Philosophy
The Flandrien Hotel was created based on our conviction that bike riders need a place where they can follow their passion while reflecting upon their careers, getting fresh food for thought, and connecting with other inspired people. This is what we call the “home away from home” Flandrien Hotel experience.
We should also mention that we do not turn away any non-cycling guests wishing to stay with us, but our experience is very much tailored for bikers. So if you don’t love cycling before you arrive, you will by the time you leave!
Check-in Time
We are ready to welcome you to Flandrien Hotel from 4pm on the day of your arrival. You can check-in online before your stay, and we will greet you in the Clubhouse for a welcome drink upon arrival. Want to arrive earlier in the day to take a ride – no problem, as we can store your luggage until your room is available.
Check-out Time
One of the biggest headaches for cyclists is the early check-out times at most hotels. Just when you want to be out on the road on your bike, hotels expect you to be packed and ready to leave your room. Our standard check-out time is 3 pm so you can have a shower and light meal after your ride – and still have time to make it to the airport for evening departure flights.
Bike & Luggage Storage
Need to store your precious bike, bike box or extra luggage? No stress, we have secure storage for your belongings during your stay. You can also store stuff with us for short periods if on tour to other parts of Belgium or Europe – just remember to come back to collect your belongings!
Our Packages
As passionate cyclists ourselves, we understand the needs of people who are travelling to experience the wonders of cycling in Flanders. We want to make your stay as carefree as possible so that you can maximise your time on the bike and in exploring the surrounding region and historical towns.
Our Bed & Breakfast packages provide exceptional value when you take into account that many of the “extras” charged by other hotels are included. There is nothing extra to pay if you would like an espresso or cup of tea and a refill of your water bottles at anytime during the day.
You will have free self-service access to a washing machine and dryer. We do not charge for luggage storage or WiFi access.
Guests planning to do the three-day Flandrien Challenge typically check in on Thursday evening and depart on Sunday. Short-stay weekend guests check in on Friday and depart on Sunday.
